At The Clergy Conclave, we believe that leaders deserve spaces where they can exhale.
In a world that often feels loud, polarized, and exhausting, we seek to cultivate a community marked by grace, curiosity, justice, compassion, and hope. We honor the richness of theological diversity while remaining steadfast in our commitment to the dignity and sacred worth of every person.
This is a gathering where pastors, priests, chaplains, bishops, ministers, and faith leaders can show up fully human. A place to rest, reflect, learn, laugh, pray, and reconnect with the God who called them.
We are not united by agreement on every issue. We are united by a shared commitment to creating a space where every participant is respected, every voice is valued, and every person is treated as a bearer of the Divine image.
Here, there is room to breathe.
Here, there is room to belong.
Here, there is room to become.
Our inaugural gathering was held during Pentecost 2021 in Baltimore, Maryland. “Pentecost With the Methodists” drew such a delegation that it birthed a need to address our ecumenism. “Pentecost With the Methodists” became the “Revival for the Ministers” and now, formally, “The Clergy Conclave”. To date Conclave participants have come from Baptist, AUMP, UAME, AME, AMEZ, CME, UMC, Pentecostal, Non-Denominational, and Interdenominational faith communities.
Since that time, we have prayed together, shared in celebrations, mourned together, and been a support to one another. This is the type of village every pastor needs – a space where it’s safe to share, heal, grow, be challenged, and be restored!
This is NOT a denomination. This is NOT a reformation. This IS a safe space for pastors from all walks to share community, resources, and friendship!
Our goal is the holistic wellness of the preacher. We promote physical wellness, soul care, mental wellness, academic excellence, family, civic engagement, financial literacy, and BALANCE! We believe strengthened clergy help build strengthened congregations and communities.
Our schedule is designed with rest and respite in mind. While our time together is fulfilling, it is not overwhelming. There are intentional opportunities for clergy to digest the information shared and simply - rest.

Our Commitment to Sacred Community
The Clergy Conclave is an intentionally intergenerational and interdenominational gathering that welcomes clergy and ministry leaders from diverse traditions, theological perspectives, and lived experiences. We recognize that faithful people do not always agree on every doctrine, practice, or interpretation of Scripture. We believe that authentic community is not built upon uniformity, but upon mutual respect, shared humanity, and a common desire to serve God and God's people.
As a theologically open and affirming gathering, we are committed to creating a space where all participants are treated with dignity, honor, and care. We affirm the full humanity and sacred worth of women, men, LGBTQ+ persons, people of every race and ethnicity, and leaders from varied denominational and theological backgrounds. We believe the Church is strongest when diverse voices are welcomed to the table and heard with grace.
The Clergy Conclave is rooted in the values of liberation, justice, community, and hope. While thoughtful theological dialogue is welcomed, language or behavior that demeans, diminishes, or attacks the identity, calling, or personhood of another participant is inconsistent with the spirit of this gathering. We ask every attendee to contribute to an environment marked by curiosity rather than condemnation, conversation rather than combat, and compassion rather than contempt.
Our goal is not to win arguments. Our goal is to create sacred space for clergy and ministry leaders to breathe, heal, reflect, connect, and be renewed for the work to which they have been called.
In a world often marked by division, hostility, and exhaustion, The Clergy Conclave seeks to be a small but meaningful witness to another way: a place of welcome, a place of belonging, a place of honest conversation, and a place of hope.
Come as you are. Bring your tradition, your questions, your wisdom, your weariness, and your gifts. Bring ... YOU. There is room for you here.
